No, this is not a blog for people with the uncontrollable desire to steal to congregate, share stealthy swiping techniques and gush about Wynona Ryder.
You've stumbled onto Creative Loafing's brand-new shopping blog Klepto, where retail therapy is the only kind of therapy we believe in. We’ll be striving to give our readers all of the shopping news and info they need: notice of sales, openings, closings; features on local shops, shop owners and our picks on items our readers might enjoy; photos from fashion shows or other shopping-related events; and much more.
With the introduction of Klepto, we’re hoping to fill a void for Charlotte area shoppers in the worldwide web: a Web site people can visit to find out information about shopping at independently owned stores in their very own city.
This new blog will be the ultimate stop for Charlotteans to indulge in extreme consumerism. And isn't that pretty much what a klepto does?
