Doesn't it seem like the Home Depot in Midtown just opened? And now it's already closing. Jeez.

The news broke on Monday, so Tuesday I went to see if there were any signs of the impending closure. The answer is, yup. Notices near the registers stated: "All sales final, effective immediately. No checks."

You'll also find all merchandise in the Home Decorators Collection is already all on sale, 25 percent off. And if you scrounge around in that sectioned-off area of home decor, you can find some specific items on sale, like this statue pictured below, with blue stickers. (Was originally $49.99 and is marked down to $22.99)

And I just had to post this photo of a fake plant, coming in at a whopping price of $79.99. You gotta be kidding me. And you wonder why Home Depot is closing all of its Design Centers.
