Saturday, Mattel invited more than 1,000 guests to view a fashion show featuring 50 designer looks inspired by Barbie. Yes, it's the Barbie Runway Show. From WSJ.com:
The show was a celebration of all things girl, said Richard Dickson, general manager and senior vice president worldwide for Mattel, noting that it was part of an ongoing marketing campaign to strengthen Barbies relevance, especially against new dolls like the Bratz.
