NYFashionWeek Highlight 4: Eclectic Tracy Reese

Posted By on Wed, Feb 18, 2009 at 2:53 PM

Designer Tracy Reese churns out feminine yet edgy clothing, and her fall line lives up to that reputation. She's got everything from frilly short skirts to fur-lined jackets; bright patterns, bold neckwear (even this fur scarf that hangs off to the side) and silky, romantic tops. One outfit I definitely didn't like was this gold lacquer pant suit. Yup, gold jacket and gold pants.

From WWD.com:

Of all the ideas outlined in Tracy Reese’s show notes — romance, understated glamour and post- Impressionistic portraiture among them — eclectic was the most accurate description. Indeed, Reese’s collection was less about a unified theme than a lot of pretty pieces.
