Blogs are always telling you what you SHOULD get your woman for Valentine's Day. Hell, my own suggestion this year was handmade jewelry.
But InventorSpot.com lists 11 items you definitely DO NOT want to give your lady love as a token of your affection. And believe me fellas ... you do NOT want to pick up ANY of these items, no matter how much it might turn you on to see her sporting it. Need I remind you that lingerie should be sexy and make the woman FEEL sexy, too?

Events Upcoming: Snuggie Ball for Dining With Friends

No need to worry about renting a tux or shopping for a gown to attend this ball; just bring your blanket with sleeves. On Feb. 20, The Snuggie Ball for Dining With Friends event — benefiting the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network — will feature a charity Snuggie fashion show (pets with Snuggies are welcomed to enter), food courtesy of Cosmos Café, ’80s music spun by DJ Andy Kastanas and a special Snuggie drag performance from BethAnn Phetamine. At 9 p.m., those in attendance will take the Snuggie Walk of Fame to join other Dining With Friends partygoers and finish the evening with desserts and champagne at the McColl Center for Visual Art.
Want to be a part of the Snuggie Fashion Show? All you have to do is design your own.
Enter the Snuggie Ball charity fashion show for a chance to win a snuggalicious prize package and strut your creation on The Forum's catwalk. Rules? There are no rules, except that you must begin with a regulation Snuggie, where you end is up to you. Pets are invited to enter, too!
$10 fashion show entry fee/$5 for pets (before event) / $20/$10 (day of event)

News Who is Charlotte's most stylish?

There are only 25 slots on Charlotte Style Magazine's annual list of the most stylish people in the city. Wait ... Do I know 25 people in Charlotte who are hugely stylish? Hmmm ...
Just kidding.
Cast your vote for who you think has the most style in the Queen City. Those folks will be featured in the April issue of Charlote STYLE Magazine.
The 25 Most Stylish celebrates people in the fashion, business and non profit industries, who are making a real impact.“True style is a state of mind, and we would like to honor those who are the epitome of what being stylish means—from the inside out,” says Charlotte STYLE Magazine’s Publisher Bridgette West.
A few past honorees include: Matt Carroll (Charlotte Bobcats), Morgan Fogarty (Fox Charlotte), Afshin Ghazi (The Ghazi Company), Courtnee Mason (Miss Black Gastonia NC 2009), Bluz (Spoken Word Artist) and Harold Cogdell (The Law Offices of Harold Cogdell).
