Shop For a Cause: Charlotte’s Day of STYLE

Posted By on Thu, Nov 4, 2010 at 4:41 PM

Tired of feeling that post-shopping spree guilt? Avoid those dreaded blues by putting your passion for fashion to work for a good cause as Charlotte Style Magazine presents Shop For a Cause: Charlotte’s Day of STYLE.

The event, which takes place on Nov. 6, allows fashion lovers the chance to indulge in their favorite past time while benefiting the Levine Children’s Hospital.

Local shop and boutique owners city wide have planned special events and will offer great deals to customers throughout the day. Among those included are Fresh Boutique, A Step Back in Time Vintage and Jordanos Men’s and Women’s Boutique in Ballantyne.

Charlotte Mayor, Anthony Foxx, is among those pledging to support the event and considers participation a way for residents to help sick and injured children and support local businesses.

Levine Children’s Hospital has also been honored by U.S. News & World Report as the “Best Hospital” for treatment of kidney disorders.
