If you're at all like me, you're always looking for a reason to go shopping (sad, but true!). For example, for New Year's Eve, I went down to my hometown in Georgia to spend time with family and friends. I left Charlotte donning a trench coat, scarf, sweater and the thickest jeans I own. Boots and fuzzy socks were stockpiled in my trunk.
But the weather in Georgia had apparently forgotten it was December going into January, because I was greeted with 60-degree temperatures. And on New Year's Day, it actually crept up to 70. The audacity!
I had no choice. I had to go shopping, which I did. With a smile on my face, of course.
So, here's your excuse for spending some of that Christmas money you got from Grandma: It's a new year, and L.A. East (located at the Blakeney shopping center) is having a sale. No, scratch that. L.A. East is having a great sale.
