HeroesCon, held from June 22-24, 2012, at the Charlotte Convention Center, celebrated its 30th anniversary with guests including comic legend Stan Lee.

Yep, it's almost as weird as it sounds. The Pavilion at the EpiCentre hosted another Silent Disco party on June 22, where partygoers rock out to the DJ via headphones. The final one takes places on June 29. (Photos by Kennieth Holmes)

Creative Loafing held its inaugural CL Art and Music Festival on June 16, 2012, at the N.C. Music Factory. The Rhythm House Drums, School of Rock, the Blackhounds and Sun Dried Vibes saturated the fountain plaza with music. 25 artists set up their wares during the event which lasted from noon until 9 p.m.

Buff Faye's Country Barnyard Sunday Drag Brunch was held on June 10, 2012, at Hartigan's Pub featuring Miley Virus, Kiana Layne, Starla Davinci and Detra Panucci along with Natasha De La Mer and Briana La'Shawn Davis.
Project Tuesday took over Osso Restaurant and Lounge at the N.C. Music Factory, featuring fashion models, a DJ and more for a "cosmopolitan experience."
