Hundreds to be charged after RNC protests:

Almost 300 people will be formally charged in Ramsey County District Court on Tuesday after they were arrested during protests at the Republican National Convention. Protestors broke windows, threw benches and vandalized police cars. Police say 130 of those arrested will be charged with felonies. The arrests came over nearly 5,000 protesters marched peacefully in St. Paul. Star Tribune

Strong probability Caylee is dead:

Lab tests confirmed a decomposing body had been in the trunk of a car driven by Casey Anthony, mother of three-year-old Caylee. Investigators believe there is a strong possibility that the child is dead. CNN via AP

Louisiana works to restore power:

Tropical Gustav left 1.4 million people in Louisiana without power on Tuesday evening. Evacuees are expected to be back into their homes as soon as Thursday, Mayor Nagin said. CNN
