Live Review: Beauty's Torment

Posted By on Mon, Jan 26, 2009 at 3:17 PM

The Deal: Single Cell Productions presents the “Beauty’s Torment” event at The Men’s Club on Sat., Jan. 24.

The Good: The Men’s Club teamed up with Single Cell Productions (Known for its Purgatory shows) to bring a different atmosphere to the lively strip club. Short shows by Single Cell Productions included fetish play with candle wax, fire blowing, whip cream, chocolate syrup and more. In addition, a DJ played a variety of rock vibes and some cool, erotic art was displayed by photographers Mystic and Justin Kates.

The Bad: I wished there would have been more and longer shows by Single Cell Productions throughout the night. Time between shows lingered, but the shows were worth the wait.

The Verdict: Interesting. The Men's Club functioned as usual, with a variety of dancers dominating the stages and walking about the room, but a little more icing was added to the cake with the presence of Single Cell Productions. Most likely the fetish group made its name known to some people who had never heard of it and its shows were filled with the same bondage-fetish delight that’s made Single Cell Productions so popular and widely recognized throughout the Southeast region.
