The (3rd) Blizzard of '09's WTF?! Moment

The wet, cold roads made conditions too dangerous for driving, but spending the night in a tin can, apparently, is a reasonable thing to do.

Hundreds of motorists were forced to wait in their vehicles overnight. Cleveland County authorities opened a shelter early this morning, taking about two dozen people from their cars and trucks. Many motorists ran out of gas while stopped on the freeway.
