Check your Powerball ticket

Posted By on Mon, Apr 6, 2009 at 2:22 PM

You've got approximately six months to claim your prize.

A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold at the Panhandle Food Store and Valero gas station sometime between last Sunday and Wednesday.

The owner of the winning ticket had not claimed the prize as of Friday, according to state lottery officials.

The store is located at the corner of U.S. 521 and S.C. 160 and is a hot spot for commuters traveling north into the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, other places in North Carolina and into Lancaster, S.C.

The winning ticket matched all five Powerball numbers and the PowerPlay multiplier. The winner has 180 days to come forward and claim the prize.
