A legion of Charlotte’s most talented artistic minds — under the collective moniker known as The Culture Initiative — have come together to bring you tonight’s coolest soirée: Show & Tell. Described as “an eclectic showcase of sight and sound,” Show & Tell promises to feature visual art by more than 40 artists; live music pumped out by a ton of singers and musicians (like up-and-coming soul/rocker Jocelyn Ellis); and dope tracks spun by a gaggle of DJs (such as Charlotte turntable vet Riddim King, among many others). So, if you’re in the mood for a real sensory overload, be sure to put your ass in the place. $8-$10. 6:30 p.m.-2 a.m. Neighborhood Theatre, 511 E. 36th St. 704-358-9298. www.cultureinitiative.com.
