If you'll recall, a couple of years ago everyone was all abuzz because Donald Trump seemed to be gearing up to build in Uptown. Due to his "gut feeling" about the banking collapse, though, he decided to pass on the opportunity.
But, according to Charlotte.com, he may be interested in the Q.C. again:
Trump says he will be looking at that prospect in the next few months. “You could always build, and you could build for less than you can buy. Today you buy for a lot less than you can build, and that's all over the country, not just Charlotte,” he said.He wouldn't say what building he's interested in, but it would be similar to what he had planned in 2007.
