Just how cool would it be to win your own private party (with food and refreshments provided) for 11 of your best peeps at the U.S. National Whitewater Center? In my opinion, it'd be pretty damn cool. You've got a chance at it, as the USWNC is having its "Endless Summer Video Contest" through August 13. Folks are asked to submit videos and photos of their best adventures at the USNWC. The winner gets the party, in addition to AllSport passes redeemable for activities at the center. Videos or photos can be uploaded anytime between June 27th and August 13th at www.uswnc.org/party. The USNWC is looking for anything from edited masterpieces to rough-cuts. Categories for the contest include biking, climbing, funny photos and videos, kayaking, music and events, pets and animals, rafting, and zip lines. “We want to see how our fans enjoy the Whitewater Center,” said Melissa Scheneman, USNWC Advertising & Promotions Manager, “whether they are shooting down the competition channel on a rodeo raft, flying down the Mega Zipline or just enjoying live music at the Subaru River Jam.
Everyone can vote for his or her favorite videos at www.usnwc.org/party. A weekly prize will be awarded throughout the summer to videos chosen at random. At the end of the contest, the five videos with the most overall votes will be entered into the finals. The grand prize winner will be selected on August 20th.
