Arts / News Carlotan Rock Fest returns to the Q.C.

Today, Carlotan Rock Fest 2009, a Carolina Latin rock festival returns to Charlotte for its sixth year. The fest features some of the best Latino musical talents in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Some of these include Monte Negro, Satellite District, Flor de Zempa, Rey de Bastos, La Rúa, and Johnny Mortera. Tickets are $15. Doors open at 8 p.m. Held at Scandalo’s, located at 5317 E. Independence Blvd.
