Robot Johnson's gig at CAST

Posted By on Fri, Sep 4, 2009 at 1:36 PM

By now, you’ve probably heard about the closing of The Nook (formerly The Graduate) in Plaza Midwood. It’s left the sketch comedy troupe Robot Johnson without a permanent home for shows, since it used to host regular performances inside the venue. So, what’s next? Robot Johnson is hitting the road, taking its show to some other cities. Now, don’t go getting cranky Charlotte ... sometimes you gotta share. But before they hop on the road, get out and support the troupe’s upcoming gig, “The Greatest of All Time Show," on Sat., Sept. 5 at Carolina Actors Studio Theatre. At the show, the troupe is also giving out a special CD with two parody songs recorded for cast member David Golden’s upcoming album (but not included on the album) Here’s What I Really Think of You.  Tickets are $10. Show starts at 10 p.m. Carolina Actors Studio Theatre is located at 1118 Clement Ave.
