It’s all rock ‘n’ roll, fun and games until the army decides to draft you. In Bye Bye Birdie, the Tony Award-winning musical, - which Central Piedmont Community College will present performances of starting on Feb. 12 and continuing on select days though Feb. 21 in Halton Theater - that’s just the case with singing sensation Conrad Birdie. Meanwhile his agent is left up the creek without a canoe (so to speak); that is, until he plans for Birdie to star on the Ed Sullivan Show. But order is not in store, as what seems like a last kiss becomes a punch in the face when the TV appearance becomes a spotlight flop. Tickets are $5-$18. Performance dates/times are as followed: February 12-13, 8 p.m.; Feb. 14, 2:30 p.m.; Feb. 19-20, 8 p.m.; Feb. 21, 2:30 p.m. For tickets, call 704-330-6534 or click here.
