In John Weidman’s play (with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim), Assassins, the lives of nine individuals who assassinated or tried to assassinate former presidents of the United States are weaved together. From John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald, these bad boys from different time periods in history meet and inspire each other to commit dreadful acts. You can see performances of this play — directed by James Vesce — at UNC-Charlotte, starting April 14 and continuing through April 18. Tickets are $6-$14. Dates/times are as followed: April 14-17, 8 p.m.; April 18, 2 p.m. For more information, click here.
