Charlotte gas prices rise (surprise, surprise)

Posted By on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 9:27 AM

Well this, as reported by the Charlotte Business Journal, is great fucking news:

The cost of a gallon of regular gasoline in the metro Charlotte area is continuing to rise.

Regular gas is selling for an average of $2.849 per gallon, up from $2.828 a week ago, according to AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report. A month ago, a gallon of gas cost $2.794 in metro Charlotte.

What a coincidence, right? Just in time for the warm weather — and increased travel that goes with it. Who are these oil companies trying to fool?!
