Easy button: In support of our soldiers

Posted By on Wed, Jun 2, 2010 at 10:56 AM

Our State magazine has created an easy button for us. I pressed it.

Thanks to Our State, it took me less than a minute to send a note of encouragement to an American soldier this morning. I didn't really know what to say, quite honestly, so I just said "thanks."

You can do the same. Here are the deets:

Inspired by the photo essay, “Eyes on Fort Bragg,” in our June issue, Our State magazine will be collecting notes from our readers between now and June 15 to send to soldiers stationed around the globe. These notes will accompany complimentary copies of the June issue.

Click here to send your support to our soldier.

Whether you agree with the jobs our soldiers are charged with or not, the fact remains that every soldier gives up a great deal for the honor of protecting our country and her citizens — with their lives, when necessary. Saying "thank you" is the least we can do, don't you think?
