Organizing for America opening an office in Charlotte

Posted By on Thu, Jun 3, 2010 at 9:48 AM

President Obama's campaign team is setting up shop in the Elizabeth neighborhood. The grand opening is this Saturday, June 5, from noon until 5 p.m.

From BarackObama.com:

The official Organizing for America office is launching our 2010 electoral efforts.

We will gather at our new office for the first time and launch our first canvass of the summer. We will be knocking on the doors of first time voters from 2008 to talk to them about the importance of their vote and what we have been able to accomplish because they supported President Obama. We will also be gathering commitments to support Democrats in 2010.

The event will kick off at noon with some great music, food and speakers. Around 1:30 we will launch our canvass, return around 4, collect our materials and celebrate our progress!

We can not do this without you. Only together can we can win in 2010. Together we can maintain the majority!

We look forward to seeing you all out there.

You can RSVP to attend here.
