Posted By on Mon, Jun 14, 2010 at 2:12 PM

This just in from the folks at WGIV:

Alysse Stewart is returning to radio in Charlotte — making her presence felt on the airwaves of WGIV 103.3FM & 1370AM.

Her new daily two-hour lifestyle show will be heard weekdays 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., beginning June 14, 2010

The new show — aptly titled The Alysse Stewart Show — will cover topical discussions about everyday life, including relationship talk, healthy living, entertainment news, the community vibe and life with her 2-year-old son Durrell Babbs Jr.

“Radio is my passion. I've missed cracking the microphone and sharing with a listening audience. I'm grateful for the opportunity that WGIV has extended me to shine on the airwaves once again,” said Stewart. “When I think of all the possibilities this time around, my heart beats a little faster. Radio — it's what I'm meant to do.”

Stewart is currently featured on Creative Loafing as the host of an internet-based radio show that focuses on love and relationships. Her 18-year radio journey includes stints at WWWZ, WQOK, WJMZ, WZFX and most recently WBAV in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she ranked No.1 in nights and middays.
