Bicyclists invade N.C. Music Factory for protest

Posted By on Thu, Aug 5, 2010 at 12:31 PM

On Tuesday, a group of more than 50 bicyclists held a friendly protest in front of Butter NC, where Creative Loafing's Best of Charlotte party was taking place. They came out to express their dissent to a recent opinion piece by columnist Tara Servatius, titled “Crash test dummies: The cycling epidemic.”

Editor-in-chief Carlton Hargro and the CL mascot Loafie handed out bottled water — and one guy left with a free bike Creative Loafing gave away in a raffle.
