WFAE hosts "Charlotte's Evolving Job Market."

Posted By on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 1:38 PM

On Oct. 19, as part of its ongoing community conversation series, WFAE (90.7 FM) is hosting a forum called "Charlotte's Evolving Job Market." Note: The event is free, but registration is required.

The panel, which will be moderated by WFAE's Greg Collard, includes:

  • Cheryl Richards, dean of Cato Campus & Professional Careers Division, CPCC
  • Steve Sellers, executive search consultant, Anderson & Associates
  • Mark Vitner, senior economist, Wells Fargo

As I always say, it's easier to solve our problems when we choose to discuss them. So go, be part of the conversation.

In national jobs news, President Obama recently signed the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 into law. Find out how your representatives voted on the bill at VoteSmart.org. (Regarding this video: Skip to 3:50 to avoid several minutes of shout outs.)
