In its 63rd year, The 2010 Belk Carolinas' Carrousel Parade returns — with a new route that wraps up at the Levine Center for the Arts at South Tryon Street — to the streets of Uptown Charlotte on Thanksgiving. Dress warm and hit the pavement for some early morning entertainment, before whatever feast you may or may not be embarking on later in the day. This year's parade will feature a variety of participants, including special guests like Miss North Carolina, 12 marching bands and a specially-designed Q.C. inflatable turkey, among others. The holidays are right around the corner, so relax while you still can. Free. 10 a.m. Starts at 10th Street and N. Tryon Street and continues to S. Tryon Street and Stonewall Street. For more information, visit www.carrouselparade.org.
