As of today, cops have two more reasons to ticket us

You better get your license plate decor off your car, especially if it obscures any information on your tag. Why? As of today, North Carolina cops can issue $100 tickets if any information on your car's license plate isn't easy for them to read. That means, if you've got one of those plate holders on your car, you're officially giving the cops a reason to stop you.

Another new law that takes effect today involves proper driving procedures when you see any type of emergency vehicle, utility vehicle, tow truck or rescue vehicle working on the side of the road. You have to slow down and move over. If you don't, you could face a $250 fine.

But, in good-for-us news, the DMV can no longer charge us a dollar for renewing our car registration via mail. Yea! A dollar!

And now, the Dead Prez with "Police State."
