49er football takes a giant step

The Charlotte Observer is reporting that UNC Charlotte has begun scouting for a football coach. The team's first game is currently planned for 2013. Go 49ers!

The new coach, who will earn a base salary of $175,000 per year, will begin recruiting a class of redshirt freshmen immediately for the 2012-13 school year. The school's first game will be Aug.31, 2013, at home against Campbell.
