Want a ride to the N.C. Music Factory? There's a free shuttle for that.

How many times have you been Uptown at a party that just didn't give you the thrills you were expecting? Then, you get a text message about what a rocking good time people are having at another spot (like, say, the N.C. Music Factory) — and you want to go there, but you don't want to drive, give up your prime parking spot or you've been drinking (safety first). Don't worry about it; you can get there for free on the Entertainment Express:

Shuttle

The “Entertainment Express” has begun running continuous loops throughout the Uptown area, along Graham, Third and College Streets, focusing stops at bus stops on College Street and at the NC Music Factory. With this shuttle, you can park once Thursday – Saturday nights and travel in style to Uptown’s entertainment hot spots.

The initial pick-up/drop-off locations will be at 4th and College Streets; and on College Street and Sixth Streets at the public bus stop next to the Holiday Inn Charlotte – Center City and again at the NC Music Factory fountain plaza. The shuttles will stop at each of these locations approximately every 15 minutes from 6:30pm until 2:30am every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Other stops may be added.

The shuttle fleet is comprised of beautiful Mercedes-Benz 18 passenger Sprinter buses supplied Felix Sabates Mercedes-Benz of South Charlotte.

“Visitors to anywhere Uptown can now park for free in the huge newly paved NC Music Factory parking lot and ride the Entertainment Express to other entertainment venues throughout the Uptown area,” says Noah Lazes, co-owner of the NC Music Factory. “Alternatively, if parked outside of the NC Music Factory, riders can come from other Uptown venues for free to visit the NC Music Factory without ever moving their vehicles.”
