Local actors team up for Social Anxiety web series

Thanks to the Social Anxiety web series, you don’t even have to leave the house to watch new material written and performed by local actors. Elise DuQuette and Ana Shaw teamed up to write the mockumentary about an aspiring doctor who hosts a self-help group for folks with social anxiety.

Shot in Concord, the series stars DuQuette and Shaw in addition to other local area actors, including Lisa MacLeish, Lindsey Moser, Berry Newkirk (who might I add, makes a fine Edgar Allen Poe), Juan Carlos Piedrahita and Barnet Sherman.

Check out part one of the first episode, below.

For more information on the series and cast of Social Anxiety, visit www.socialanxietytheseries.com.

While on the site, you can also take a quiz to see where you fall on the social anxiety scales.
