First Drip (3/7/14): Eastland Mall project on 'life support,' RIP Martin Nesbitt, more

Posted By on Fri, Mar 7, 2014 at 9:38 AM

The plan to remake the Eastland Mall site into movie studios is "on life support," says the developer.

State Sen. Martin Nesbitt, who stepped down last week as minority leader, died yesterday from stomach cancer.

The Dan River coal-ash spill has claimed its latest victims.

A South Carolina lawmaker has introduced a bill to repeal the state's "stand your ground" law.

Daylight Savings Time is this weekend. Remember, spring forward!
