Progress N.C. Action, a North Carolina activist group, is filing an ethics complaint against Governor Pat McCrory Monday. According to WSOC: "The group's leaders say McCrory has a history of not being honest with voters about where his interests lie. The group accuses McCrory of hiding what it says are 'clear conflicts of interests and sources of income.' It states the governor is being deceptive about income, stock ownership and his relationships with big businesses."
The F.B.I. and Justice Department prosecutors have recommended bringing felony charges against the retired Gen. David H. Petraeus over the disclosure of classified information to his North Carolina-based biographer and then-mistress Paula Broadwell.
President Obama today will propose legislation requiring companies to inform customers within 30 days if their data has been hacked.
The Senate is just four votes short of overriding a presidential veto for a bill authorizing the approval of the Keystone XL Pipeline, which would run from the oil sands of Alberta to the Gulf Coast.
