First Drip (2/20/15): Franklin Graham chimes in on proposed LGBT ordinance, more

Oh goody. Franklin Graham decided to offer his two cents on the proposed ordinances in Charlotte that will extend more protections to LGBT residents. He particularly takes issue with the measure that would allow transgender people to use the bathroom of their choice in public places. “I cannot see why City Council would even consider this," he said. "It is not only ridiculous, it’s unsafe. Common sense tells us that this would open the door, literally, to all sorts of serious concerns including giving sexual predators access to children. It violates every sense of privacy and decency for people of both sexes, adults and children.”

Folks who live in southwest Charlotte will soon have a new entertainment option: Piedmont Social House opens this spring. "It will also fill a large void of leisure activity that exists for residents living within the triangle between Gastonia, Ballantyne and Fort Mill," said William Hodges, one of the developers, in a press release.

Since the ridiculous cold settled in earlier this week, I've had Frozen on my mind. I guess I wasn't the only one. Police in a small Kentucky town posted a message on Facebook jokingly announcing a warrant for the arrest of Queen Elsa.
