The N.C. Senate: Magistrates could recuse themselves from performing marriages if they feel their religious beliefs are being violated, but parents can't use that same excuse to exempt their children from vaccinations. OK then. Senate Bill 346, which "sponsors said the bill would bring North Carolina law up to current standards," was introduced yesterday.
