First Drip (4/3/15): Belk considering sale, S.C. man rescued at sea, more

As someone who's worked for a company that's been sold several times, I think it's safe to say the folks who work at Belk are freaking out. The retailer confirmed yesterday it's considering a sale. “We are entering our scheduled five-year strategic planning process within a rapidly changing industry,” a statement issued by Belk said.

A South Carolina man who survived 66 days lost at sea was discovered yesterday about 200 miles off the North Carolina coast. Louis Jordan, 37, "had an injured shoulder but had managed to keep himself fed during his months at sea, said Lt. Krystyn Pecora, spokeswoman for the Coast Guard Fifth District in Portsmouth, Va."

The Sacremento Kings signed the NBA's first player of Indian descent. Diversity, yay. And Sim Bhullar is 7 foot 5 — damn.

Not only is today Good Friday, when Christians remember the day Jesus was crucified, it's also the day the The British and World Marbles Championship is hosted every year.
