First Drip (4/15/15): Traffic woes — thanks Obama

Dear Charlotteans: Your reward for submitting your taxes today is bad traffic. Thanks Obama. He'll be hanging out at the ImaginOn today, talking equal pay for women and tax credits.

Fast food workers are at it again, exercising their right to protest their low wages. Cooks and cashiers in 230 cities are expected to strike today. Locally, the rally took place this morning at 8824 Pineville-Matthews.

"No guns allowed"? Psh. Those signs will mean little if N.C. Sen. Jeff Tarte has his way. He recently introduced Senate Bill 708, which would allow folks with the right permitting to carry a concealed weapon anywhere the police do.

Cuba will be taken off the list of states that sponsor terrorism, the White House announced yesterday.
