Twelve members of the United Blood Nation were arrested yesterday for their roles in the conspired murders of a Lake Wylie couple who had planned to testify against the men who had attempted to rob their mattress store. A federal indictment charged six of them with the murder of Doug and Debbie London.

Gen. David Petraeus will be sentenced today in Charlotte for sharing classified information with his lover/biographer Paula Broadwell. WFAE has a great report on whether the proposed sentence of two years probabtion and a $40,000 fine is too light. Another case involving the leaking of classified information garnered a sentence of 13 months in jail.

The North Carolina House is taking a stand for privacy. House Bill 792 tackles revenge porn and online impersonation; it was passed by The House Judiciary IV Committee unananimously.

Finally, North Carolina native Loretta Lynch's nomination for U.S. Attorney General is scheduled to be voted on today.
