A portion of Tuckaseegee Road will be closed through tomorrow after construction crews reportedly ruptured a water main. The accident happened at the intersection of Tuckaseegee and Berryhill roads. (Justin Pryor, WCCB) In NoDa, a portion of North Davidson Street between 36th Street and Craighead Road closed this weekend and will remain closed until June 13th due to unsuitable soil found during the construction of the LYNX Blue Line Extension. (Ashley Armstrong, WCCB) A "Bus Roadeo," a public transit competition being held in Uptown Charlotte today, will shut down parts of South Brevard Street near E. Martin Luther King Boulevard and the NASCAR Hall of Fame today until about 4 p.m. (Karen Sullivan, Charlotte Observer)

The Transportation Security Administration implemented changes to security lines at Charlotte Douglas International Airport this morning that it hopes will speed up the process of getting passengers through security. The TSA reportedly moved its priority lane from Checkpoint C to Checkpoint D and also moved its pre-check line from Checkpoint E to Checkpoint D. (Editor's note: I have no idea what means but I'm flying on Friday so I hope it works.) (Brandon Golder, WCNC)

A 14-year-old boy was seriously injured in Monroe last night when he was reportedly struck by a van on Highway 74 in Monroe. Police said the boy was with a group that ran across the street from a median at around 10 p.m. last night. Despite his serious injuries, the boy is expected to fully recover. The driver is not facing charges at this time. (WBTV Web Staff)

Neither driver was harmed in a collision between two tractor trailers in Chesterfield County, South Carolina this morning. The crash happened on U.S. 601 near Pageland at about 4:30 a.m. this morning. Pictures look as though the Tyson Foods truck, reportedly carrying eggs, t-boned an empty Smithfield truck, its cab going under the Smithfield trailer. (WSOC Staff)
