Pete Stuart first lent his voice to music media as an infant, when his baby screams were once inadvertently broadcast over the airwaves at WMZQ 98.7 FM in Washington, D.C. His mother, a prominent local DJ who emceed shows for Frank Zappa, Willie Nelson and Electric Light Orchestra, would often wheel the stroller in-studio during evening shifts. As a full-grown adult, he served as staff writer at a top Virginia weekly newspaper while also contributing the occasional feature or review for Southeast Performer magazine. A graduate of James Madison University, Pete’s current day job is sports PR, but you’re likely to find him during off hours at the Visulite merch booth, debating whether to drop $30 on a pre-shrunk tee.
