Gift Horse Back from churning up SXSW, Athens, Ga., combo's Slowdive and shoe-gazer-inspired pop expands the genre infused with fresh blood. There are post-punk sentiments while the guitars ride surf waves with fuzzy highs and lows. The band has just dropped its guitar noise debut recording, Mountain of Youth, that's also touched with jazzy interludes. With Jeremiah and the Howling Owls. Snug Harbor
