Fishbone sticks to you like Crazy Glue tonight at the Tremont

Posted By on Tue, Nov 8, 2011 at 9:44 AM

Bloody shame Fishbone never broke through into the mainstream. There was nothing quite like this combo when they exploded onto the scene in the late ’80s with their maniacal brew of ska, punk and horns-fueled funk. They proceeded to tear the roof off any watering hole or outdoor festival they played in within moments of hitting the stage. The uber-energy remains intact, as are their head-bopping, wit-laden songs, as displayed on their new EP, Crazy Glue.

With Lucky Five and Bums Lie. $15-$18. Tremont Music Hall.
