Minus the Bear just released their spring tour itinerary and it includes a stop at The Fillmore Charlotte on May 9, shortly after the May 4 release of the band's new album, Omni.

The Biltmore in Asheville, N.C., has announced it's concert series for this year. All concerts start at 8 p.m. and tickets go on sale on April 6. Call 866-336-1255 or go to www.biltmore.com for more information.
The Biltmore Concert Series line-up is:
• Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, June 4 at Diana at Biltmore
• The Original Drifters, June 11 at Diana at Biltmore

News / Concert Announcement Alice in Chains rescheduled

Last night's sold out Alice in Chains show at The Fillmore was canceled due to the illness of guitarist/singer Jerry Cantrell. The show will now be held on April 20 at the Uptown Amphitheatre.
Tickets go on sale on March 12 at 10 a.m.
Tickets that were purchased for The Fillmore Charlotte show will automatically be exchanged for tickets at the Uptown Amphitheatre. Patrons who purchased their tickets at the box office or Blockbuster stores can exchange their tickets at the Fillmore/Uptown box office.
Patrons who do not wish to attend the new show should contact CustomerCare@LiveNationTix.com or via phone at 888.598.4299 to request their refund by Monday, March 15.

OK Go, the band that brought you the crazy treadmill video is back with their new one for "This Too Shall Pass"... oh yeah, and they'll be playing at the Visulite Theatre on May 12. Tickets are $14 in advance and $16 on the day of the show.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have announced their 2010 tour and it's hitting Charlotte on May 7, the second day of the tour, which launches in Raleigh. They will be performing at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.
Joe Cocker is the supporting act on this date. Tickets start to go on sale on March 8.

30 Seconds to Mars have announced their upcoming spring tour, which includes a date at Charlotte's Uptown Amphitheatre.
The band, with supporting acts MuteMath and Neon Trees, will be here on April 25. No word yet on ticket sales.
