Carole King and James Taylor unveiled North American dates for the "Troubadour Reunion" tour today. This event marks a rare concert experience bringing two singer-songwriters on tour together - intimate and in the round - for the first time in four decades.

Phish frontman Trey Anastasio and his band, Trey Anastasio Band (not Phish), are hitting the road this year, with a stop planned at The Fillmore in Charlotte on Feb. 26.
The band is made up of Russ Lawton (drums), Tony Markellis (bass) and Ray Paczkowski (keyboards) who will be joined by Russell Remington (tenor saxophone and flute) and Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet and vocals). New to the group is Natalie Cressman on trombone and vocals, who replaces her father, Jeff Cressman.
Tickets go on sale to the general public next week.
Members of Dead End Parking and The New Familiars will join forces with Melissa Reeves on Tuesday night at the Double Door Inn for the Carolina Live Music Society's Christmas party.
The show starts at 9 p.m. with tickets going for just $5 a portion of the proceeds will go to Daniel Flynn, drummer of the New Familiars, who recently became a father.

Tim McGraw will be at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre on Aug. 13 with Lady Antebellum and Love and Theft.
Brooks & Dunn will be in town on June 4. Though no venue has been announced, I'm guessing it'll be out at Verizon, as well.
