BRODY & CHOCH The Charlotte duo brings an old-school hip-hop style reminiscent of A Tribe Called Quest. Their debut album is being offered as a free download via their bandcamp site ­— whatever it takes to get the music to the masses. Just as likely to spit over something with a classical groove ("Pool Day Hooray") as they are a jazz rhythm ("Breath of Triumph") or strong drum beats. $8. The Evening Muse.
