Iowa started issuing marriage licenses for same sex couples last week and by all accounts from the Associated Press and other news outlets, gays who want to get married are heading to the state.
But who would've thought that the state of Iowa and not California would've approved same sex marriage?
This should be a sign for North Carolina. If "America's Heartland" can accept same sex marriage, then maybe the buckle of the bible belt should as well.
Besides, the number one cause of divorce is marriage--not gay people.
