Good times were had with Good Times star JJ Walker.
The first thing he said when he took the stage was Lake Norman Cornelius, North Carolina... so its come to this? Meaning, his career. But he was surrounded by celebs actually ... assuming hes heard of NASCAR.
JJ is still so animated and outspoken he didnt even need a mic, he just carried it around at arms length, only using it when he was acting out a punch line or really trying to make a point. I was laughing so hard I got cramps ... some of the side splitting laughter induced jokes included his comments regarding Young Hollywood.
Britney Spears lost custody of her kids ... even Michael Jackson was allowed to keep his kids. He made some very valid points...
Some of these stars think that rehab is a club in LA they come out more fucked up then they went in
Clay Aiken and Lance Bass for NSYNC came out of the closest ... whats next, Richard Simmons? For a culture that cant reproduce, where are all they coming from?

Note the Laugh MS Benefit on April 28, hosted by Frankie Paul and David L, to benefit the National MS Society. And the Charlotte Walk MS is on May 16 (write that down) ... Ill be at both in support of my sister, Kim, who suffers from the disease.
After a show at LKN Comedy Zone, you can walk downstairs to The Galway Hooker for a live music show. Such as Jason Marcum who remixed The Dream ft. Fabolous hip-hop song "Shawtys a Ten" to acoustic.
Meanwhile, ALIVE in NoDa is now a Comedy Club and Live Music Venue as opposed to just a club. They regularly hold a comedy showcase (kinda like Comic View) hosted by David L.
I went to the last one during CIAA and I was LMAO through all seven comics. My favorite joke was from the guy who suggested all women come with a Car Fax report so you can check if theyve had body work done, how many miles they have on them and if theyve been rear ended. I guess thats what Facebook and MySpace are for...
The next showcase is tentatively scheduled for March 26.
