If you’re looking for a quiet place to sit and have a drink without hearing any foreign accents, you might want to look elsewhere. Connolly’s is small in size — upstairs and downstairs — but has just enough wiggle room to navigate your way to the old-style bars, especially when a U.S. or Ireland soccer match is on the tube. It has a great traditional Irish pub ambiance with the lights always dimmed and the temperature kept frosty. Maybe if you’re too cold, you should drink more to stay warm.
