The Walking Dead No. 66

Published by Image Comics. Written by Robert Kirkman. Art by Charlie Adlard.

The Deal: Robert Kirkman's zombie hit keeps on truckin'. This issue wraps up the five-part "Fear the Hunters" story arc — which featured The Walking Dead cast going against a group of human (as opposed to zombie) cannibals.

The Verdict: This story line ended as it should have — brutally, and with our "heroes" on top ... well, as much as they can be on top. A lot of the gore this time around takes place off panel, but the implications are horrific. And a long-standing character dies. It's everything you've come to expect from TWD. The quality level is still high — great story, and amazing art. Buy it.
