Just got an e-mail about a soon-to-be-released graphic novel with a cool concept titled Drunk.
According to the guy behind the comic, Michael Ogilvie, the stories found in Drunk "... are entrenching entrenching, bizarre, funny, laden with despair, rattled with violence, endearing, embarrassing, holy, loving, sincere, mischievious, and excessive enough in scope and skill to be crowned the title that surmises the quintessential human achievement of being DRUNK.
That pretty much says it all, I think. But to get a better idea, take a look at this video trailer about the comic:
For more about Drunk, visit the Drunk Web site.

Van Jensen talks digital distribution: The author and artist talks Longbox, iPhone comics and more.

I've talked a lot of shit about DC Comics over the last year mostly that I wasn't enjoying the overall creative directon of teh comics they published (JLA, anyone?) but honestly they've got some interesting stuff lined up in the next few months.
Like what?
Well, like this here, and umm this right here.
And there's more good stuff on the way. As I get my hands, I'll let you know how it is.
