Line changes: New items at Harper's, The Liberty's menu and more

at SouthPark and Carolina Place are featuring Wagyu meat from Rock Horse Farm in Morganton. Menu items include Wagyu Sliders (3 for $10); Caramelized Onion Wagyu Burger with Gruyere ($11); and an Iron Skillet Wagyu Meatloaf ($14).

Frankie’s Italian Grille, a sibling restaurant to Lone Star, Sullivan’s Steakhouse and Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse chains, has closed its restaurant on Morehead Street.

The Common Market SouthEnd, (pictured left) 1515 South Tryon Street, is open for Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The menu includes a three-egg omelette; French toast stuffed with cream cheese; and poached eggs floating in creamy hollandaise sauce.

On the menu at the newly opened The Liberty, an American gastropub, 1812 South Boulevard, are Farm Chicken with olive-crushed potatoes, sweet pepper pipérade, chorizo and natural reduction ($15); Grilled Scottish Salmon with Anson Mills farro 'risotto', Tuscan kale and black truffle oil ($19); All Night-Braised Painted Hills Short Ribs with turnip-potato gratin and mushroom of the moment ($21); Pecan-crusted Snake River trout with thin beans, peach chutney, pommes puree and honey-lemon butter ($18); Angus Pub Burger with Niman Ranch bacon, Teleme cheese, Sweet Grass cheddar, special sauce and duck fat fries ($10); Crispy "Duck and Dumplings" with duck leg confit, duck meatballs, ricotta dumplings and wilted spinach ($17); American Kobe Beef "Meatloaf" with fork-smashed loaded potatoes & porcini-Cabernet reduction ($16); Roasted Maine Sea Scallops with creamed corn, local vegetable succotash and lemony arugula ($19); Benton's Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin with Carolina Gold rice and Sea Island pea gravy ($17); and "Meat & Potatoes" grilled hanger steak, preserved tomatoes, farm stand onion butter and parmesan-truffle fries ($19). The beverage list includes 20 hand-crafted beers on tap, 50 beers by the bottle, 60 wines and a creative cocktail list.
